01 The Problem
Real significance, thinly expressed.
The value is already real. The digital presence is often the part that has not caught up.
01 The mismatch
The online version arrives smaller than the real one.
Many accomplished individuals and institutions hold reputation, history, craft, influence, collections, or cultural importance that is already established.
Online, that substance is too often reduced to a dated site, a scattered archive, a few disconnected profiles, or a story told mostly by platforms and search results.
02 The ownership vacuum
No single party owns the whole.
A web-design agency builds the site. A studio may make an identity. A freelancer executes a feature. A marketer runs activity on top.
Each can do useful work, but each usually owns a slice. The client is left to act as the general contractor for a presence that should have been designed as one system.
